Description

Repeating one more of the Sharpless2 Group to see what my new CMOS system can find with GHS.

Used the Dynamic Combination Recipe which really emphasized the O-III.  On paper this requires S-II but I just duplicated the H-alpha and relabeled it S-II.Seemed to work to isolate the O-III.

Previous version of SH2 129.

From GalaxyMap:

[Only refers to H-alpha]

Sharpless notes that this large faint nebula is part of the Cep OB2 association and the Cepheus bubble.

Avedisova lists 5 B-class ionising stars.

Sometimes called the Flying Bat nebula. This image only shows part of this nebula.

GENERAL NOTE ON SHARPLESS2 OBJECTS>>>>>>>>>>>>>

There are 313 Sh2 objects.  All now imaged.

This is my collection:

Hope you enjoy these obscure but interesting objects...I have always been interested in the dull O-III component here so I decided to try to apply Dynamic Combination, which emphasizes O-III and General Hyperbolic Stretch (GHS) which emphasizes dull signals.
